Nice little flying field, clear of most obstructions unlike our paddock out back which has got trees along two sides.
Used to be fine but have grown over the years, still ok as long as you position correctly for landing.
They dont bother my small foamies though, only the bigger stuff.

How does the Fun Cub compare with the Mentor?
Which is a better trainer?
Which would be better on floats?
Which would be better towing?
Thanks.

K been out again today, have set the Torque stroke side thrust up and all is flying in a straight line. So it flies nice if not a little diffrently. Struggled to do a loop on the stock setup, without a big run up. Think I need to get some more flap movement in it now.

Glad you got your thrust issue sorted out.
Run up to do a loop, with that motor and prop I would have thought it would loop from near stationary.
Either needs more elevator throw (thought the throws listed in the manual were on the small side considering the flight videos)
or it is really nose heavy.

Very cool! It's fun to see that someone actually has one of these in captivity. Now, I'm just waiting for the US arrival. "Don't worry about me, I'll just fly in the dark.."

Nice Video momozzzz Love it. Did you keep the GoPro in its housing. Or just use the camera as if for less weight?

Would that be the Multiplex Power set in there or something different

My setup is: Dualsky 3542-7 (800kv) motor, ESC 40A, Apc 13x4 (I'll try 12x6, because lower kv of my motor) 2250mAh/3s lipos, 2xTiny-s and 4xnano-s servos, and my camera (GoPro HeroHd) is in his waterproof house.

Yep I thought this one from Als would probably do the job. Just nice to know there is some kind of replacement to pop straight in.
