Motor mount source

Where did you buy the long in-fuse motor mount from? I thought that type has dried up. Haven't seen any on the net for quite a while. How much are they?

Links appreciated.

Apparently your post was missed. The motor mounts are available from the online store at sdparkflyers.com.

Going to build mine from 6mm black depron.Always a bit breezy where I fly so a bit of extra weight won,t hurt.I have used epp before but prefer depron for building with.Should not need so much carbon stiffeners on this one.

Robert,

Would you have a Google SketchUp file for this plane you might share? I'd like to play around with trying different scales for the plane (like in smaller) and some minor mods.

Thanks

I saw this bipe a while back but forgot what it was called so have only just found it again.Plans printed and cut out.Going to be built with 6mm black depron for outdoor use only.
I will post some pictures of the build.
Thanks Tallflyer this looks like a good one.

just make sure to put some type of landing gear on this plane otherwise the plane will be a little top heavy!

Thanks tallflyer for the advice about the landing gear.My problem is the field that I fly from is too rough for using landing gear on these lightweight foamies so none of mine have any.If I mount the battery low down near the bottom wing do you think that might help. This is going to be for outdoor use only so I am not after a super lightweight plane perhaps around 9-10 ozs rtf.
I will probably use the cruciform type of fuselage construction to cut down on tail twist or perhaps two fuselage sides with a narrow (1") former to make a narrow full fuse bipe.I don,t know how much weight that might add but foam is cheap so it must be worth a go.
Love the video on page one, never thought a plane could fly that slowly and still be controllable.
