OFFICIAL - 2010 UAV Outback Challenge Forum

Welcome to the OFFICIAL - 2010 UAV Outback Challenge Forum with thanks to RCGroups for hosting.

The 2010 rule will be posted on the challenge website http://www.uavoutbackchallenge.com.au in the coming days and this forum can be used to get an official response from the committee on general questions about the rules and the competition as a whole.

Good luck to all teams in 2010 from me and the rest of the Technical Committee of the 2010 UAV Outback Challenge.

I would love to Mark but I have to be working and I don't think I would get the cost of a flight past the authorities!! One day maybe, was thinking of making the trip in 2011, if other things pan out.

But this year I hope that some streaming video or even just audio will be sorted.

Its a cracking competition and looks alot of fun.

I might be at the South African version later this year, looking for Namaqwa Sam. I think theres a meeting in Pretoria today that will discuss it a bit. But thats OT sorry.

Does anyone know if the spectrum rules have changed since last year regarding 2.4ghz video transmitters being used for "telemetry"?
I remember seeing somewhere that this would not be allowed in 2010.
