Well got my gnat's engine started but as soon as it took off and got 20' up the engine cut out. Broke the prop. But she flew for a few seconds lol

OMG batteries finish charging so I can fly something before the light dies and the rain starts in two hours!

My flight leaves Fairbanks International at 0850, bound for Seattle and from there back to Minneapolis. The campus shuttle from the dorms heads for the airport at 0600, so I'll be up and starting the journey home in like thirteen hours

... And then I'll solder bullets to the 16/15/2 and evil will awaken in my hangar.

I need to go flying. I can usually sneak in some stick time in the a.m.'s before work, but it's been cold, windy, and worst of all, worky lately so no time, no good weather, and . . . well I just need to go flying.

Fixed the LG (again) on the big Dynam Sbach. Epoxied it on then screwed that sucker to a piece of basswood. If it comes out this time, it will take half the plane with it. LOVE that thing, gotta get more batteries so I can fly it non-stop. Especially since it's my only big airplane right now.

I am ready for tomorrow twelve packs for my ASbach3X, five for my Edge 540QQ, and one lonely pack for my Mikado Logo 400.

Hoping to bring them all home in the same condition I bring them there in

Sunny and 5-10mph wind.. A bit chilly, but I can deal.. I think I may leave work a bit early today!

Gutted no flying for the wk ahead. Weather today is shocking been dark all morning absolutely chucking it down guess ill have to fix or mod something instead !

Weekend ahead and all batteries charged. Wind is an unknown at the moment but fingers crossed.

Got a new prop to try on my MUS, a Yak 54 to maiden and a Catalina to maiden too.

You all can laugh at me, but it was 24 degrees this a.m. and although calm and clear, I couldn't hack it. HOping to get some flying in this afternoon. Might even get a video entry into the UMX Sbach contest. . .

A 45 minute dash from work to the field. I jump out of the car and throw a battery in the MUS. It's only minutes before the sun goes down. When you can only get one battery in, you gotta make it count. All I can say is that was one intense flight as I had to get my adrenaline rush. One 7 minute flight for the week...but it was worth it Aaahhh...the lengths we'll go to to get our fix. Fly on my friends...fly on
