Just flew off my back deck. Real foggy, about 40*. The fog means zero wind, so that is nice! But the vis is about a quarter mile or less.. It's fun going vert till you can't see it, then flat spinning back down into VFR conditions!

Foggy/ light freezing rain and 32* here, about the same conditions as Turbo, it's cool to watch my cub ice up to the point it almost stops flying before I can get it back on the ground.

Well I broke my plane really good today. Got it up about 150' out and lost signal and she nosed straight down and broke pretty good. It also rendered one of my batteries useless.

That sucks. You lost signal at 150 feet? What radio?

Nice up here in the NE! Supposed to be 50 today and very little wind, 55 tomorrow and almost no wind... I may have to take a half day or something

Yea, and I'm using a 72mhz hitec optic 6. This has never happened, I have flown it to around 1/4-1/3 of a mile and 100-200ft up, and around, over trees, power lines, etc and never once dropped the signal. I'm figuring its either a crystal connection or my ESC is acting up.

Beautiful weekend - got out twice - Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was a blast - good crowd at the field, but not so good that I had to wait to fly. My son graduated from the champ to the UM T28 this weekend. He's got a lot to learn, he's chasing the plane instead of flying it, but no crashes and he landed it on the runway a couple of times.

I put my keychain cam in my Dynam Sbach this weekend - with her new servos installed, she's running like a top now and is my go-to bird. It's uploading now, but will be done in a few minutes. WARNING - don't watch this video if you have a weak stomach. Her roll rate will turn your tummy.

Edit - Notice how rough the video gets towards the end? A NASTY crosswind popped up about mid flight and made things very interesting. At one point, it got so bad I thought I was losing signal or getting some kind of interference. After one aborted landing, you can see me approaching the runway from the side!

Hobby king doesn't have the module, Atleast I couldn't find it.

A-main hobbies has it for 82.99 for the optic 6 including a RX, idk if the module for the aurora 7 will work but I found that for 52.99 without a RX
