Gave my xeno a short maiden flight today. I obviously set it up ok....it flies fast! took 0 trim, launched power off, glided for a bit, and then hit the power. Can you say rocketship??
Anyway, all went well.

Today is perfect!!! about 70', no wind at all! Massachusetts can be alright. too bad all my planes need repairs. I guess today is a spectating day

Nice Xeno. I have one without the power setup for slopeing. It's a robust craft that's for sure.

Said that a zillion times. I convince myself, there will be others. Hope you have some fully functional planes to fly soon. I'd lend you one if I lived nearby.

I have mine set up so that it's power pod is removable in about 5 seconds, in case I ever try sloping. No hills around here though, unless I drive 2 hours out to the mountains.

Great idea. Like the black canopy. Much better than the stock white.

Yesterday was a great day at the field! 5 of us flying and harrassing each other with our "critiques"! God forbid that any of us bounced on a landing! Great fun, great flying day, great friends = priceless.

Hmmmmmm. A delta/flying wing slope-soarer? Never heard of that.

Yep. Foldable for those long hikes up the mountain too
It was designed as a glider, with an optional power pod that has the motor on the CG so there aren't any changes going from sloper to powered aside from folding in half, pulling the power pod off, disconnecting esc wires, and putting on the low profile canopy. takes about 30 seconds.

I just listed my two new planes for sale with the "local" club as this heat is unbearible for me. I have heart issues and just can't or won't deal with it. Standing in a furnace is not fun. I have enjoyed it though. I am in the market for a 550-700 size FBL heli. Hell, I enjoy fixin stuff "FORD" and I also drive one, so I'm gonna go back to where I started. ZEE... my last heli/ a 500 Lepton

Plan for the day.

Have a light aircraft lesson just after lunch, as doing Private Pilots license.

Race home and head to the field to fly. Just need to work out what to take. Too much to choose from!

My family went to the lake today to "maiden" our aluminum canoe. Unfortunately, the 5hp engine wouldn't start but my sister and I made for a good propulsion system by using wooden oars. Parents are right now out at the store trying to figure out the engine issue.

Well, the lake was enjoyable enough in an nonworkable-engined aluminum canoe, but I realized that the water was very tranquil and there were no winds. The lake was just 100% space. So I figure it's about time for me to jump into using some floats...

Else than that, my Pilatus PC-6 kit is finally completed after half a year of assemblage work! It's not monokoted to its final colors yet but it's here and it's ready to maiden this afternoon, if the winds are kind enough to me.
