Thats a shweet scheme you got there, a real looker!

This plane reall does fly well, Next time I'm out for a flight I'll try to get some speed runs with the dons. I think it was about 115mph that Don was getting with his evader.

I've got some holiday time this coming week so I hope to log more than a few flights.

Shane what battery did you use? The Evader will be my first EDF I have ever flown I hope it is not to much for me. I am use to flying sport planes like the ultra stick, Pulse and the e flite cap 232 bp.

Nice looking paint there Razerworkz!

A 2200mah 4s battery is about all that will fit in the plane. With a Don's Wicked I need at least a 45c rated pack otherwise I have a problem with the ESC hitting low voltage cutoff.

Just got back from flying the evader and man this thing is fast, I got 112mph from a tight race track pattern, I was having trouble doing speed runs cuz of the small size, i kept thinking i was far enough out so i would peg it and already be past and turning lol

Sounds like you had a blast! This must be your fastest plane to date. By the way, speed is addictive, you'll get used to 112mph and want more

Edit: the 2 best passes were pass 2 and 3 calm still\wind conditions.

115.4mph

112.7mph

For those of you looking for crazy speed, check out some of the electric pylon racers that are capable of well over 200mph. I've got a Jibe that makes everybody turn their head when it is in the air.

Only bad thing about them is they're harder to see. Right now I'm into my Funjet Ultra which is in the 140-150mph range and is not expensive at all when it comes to cost vs speed. And it's easy to fly.

Stang,

I haven't heard of any issues w/ the airframe or wings. The only thing to be concerened about is the high wing loading. No hard turning unless your WOT... the baby will wing tip stall and lower airspeeds. Mine balances fine w/ a 2200 mah and that gives me about 3 mins or so. Tim is the expert and he may chime in w/ more detailed info.

Charlie

Hey thanks super kupfer, found the new Phazer thread, subscribed!

Thanks for the size comparision. A little larger than the Evader and stock for stock a lighter wing loading, nice!

What size fans are you guys running in the Evader? Does it accept a 64mm pretty easily? I reckon 800 watts is needed for 125mph+?

Anyone here flying the Great Planes F16, same thing with that one?

64mm will be hard to squeeze, guys have been running the Hyperflow with don's wicked motor and getting 115-120mph on level pass.
