I think KRProton (or others on the design team/staff) is in the best position to say what the airframe SHOULD handle. And he has already said it will handle the recommended components (twice now). Shove a hotter power system in there if you want...that is your right... but don't go bashing the manufacturer if and when it breaks. That's all.

AGREED ,But as long as it dosn't happen with the recommended setup.

Well I used my last Hs-55's so I figured I would try some better servos in my Rifle. What are you guys planning to use? I was thinkin 65hb's?

I will be using the Futaba S3156

I'd say the s3156's are too much for this plane, I mean $40 bucks each? The hs-65hb's look very good, in fact I thought I was pushing it with those! But, that is just what I'd say. Changing the subject from servos again, who is going to do the first official flight report? I see Bajora has his Evader ready for maiden, anyone have a Rifle ready?

Having use a bunch of them now, I'd say that anywhere you used to consider using an HS55, use a '45 instead. The 45 is a 21st century servo, and the 55 is not. 'nuff said.

I think he's Right .......Who's got one ? Can We here some Flight Report ? Is it sweet like the video ?

Have nue 1105 for pylon or
axi22 12 12 for mine hotliner
will thes fit have sprint from espriet modles as mine hotlinre but crashet due to spektrum dx7

it's got a pretty long nose, may have to cut it for a bigger motor to balance. I have a couple extra 16-15-2's that would be nice in it.

The Neu 1105 is an excellent motor but might be too much for this model even on a 4.1x4.1.

The Neu 1105 2.5Y on a 4.1x4.1 with the right battery will push a Vip-1 to 140mph.

ok guys i got mine from the local hobby shop i am going to use a mega 3 turn with a 5x5 and a 1300 mah 3 cell and 65mg servos
i will probably have it ready by the weekend
i will try and make a vid
