Are back orders still shipping this week?

The first shipment has been released from our warehouses today. Some should be receiving by Saturday. There were more orders from customers than kits received, so yes there will be some back-orders. I guess it depends on how early you ordered yours--where you are in line. There are already more in transit though, but I believe they are a few weeks out.

Placed mine on backorder April 28th and I just got notification it shipped today out of Reno, NV. SWEET!!!!

My two kits got shipped Last friday, Hope to get it early next week and start the build.

"Yes I got two of them ,Don't think I will be bonding too close to the first one, I think due to the speed and given the size of this bird ,It will be hard to keep track of".

Will be using recomended setup with S3156 servos and a TP 3cell 1250mha. 45c battery (keeping the weight down).

Great PRICE for a full Composite bird (Hope the quality is good ,Cause in those speeds if an airframe failure occurs it could be very unsafe/dangerous).

You can bet if the airframes are breaking apart in midair, Elecctrifly will never hear the end of it. This is their chance to show that they can build a plane that can handle speed as well as branching out. Most folks I talk tp recognize Electrifly as catering to beginners in the hobby.

Given the fact that pilots are going to fly the hell out of these birds (Cause I am),These chinese better do a great job on these things (NO cheap glue or lack of glue).

These things can kill in those speeds.

Kupfer, concern trolling is still trolling.

The airframe isn't going to be indestructible. The question is whether it will hold up at the specified performance level. From what's been said here so far, they did at least try to verify that before OK'ing mass production.

If some meathead puts way too much motor and battery into the Rifle and breaks it, that's said meathead's problem, not Hobbico's.

And despite the manufacturers best attempt to find every flawed airframe sometimes they miss one. I have had several planes from several different manufacturers come defective out of the box. Personally I cant wait to get my hands on the rifle.

I don't consider an ARC 28mm 3850kv with a 4.1x4.1, with a 3S 30C lipo a meathead move. This plane should be able to handle that. We shall see.

Agreed DrZiplok, I personally think that puting a faster setup would be crazy given the size of this bird (It would already be hard as is to keep track on).

Here are some comments I already posted regarding the Rifle's airframe and stress testing. No guarantees, but I guess it IS guaranteed given the specified motor, battery and prop. :-)

It's actually bigger than a VIP-1. We run those birds at 150mph.

I just want 130mph out of the rifle so I can use it for cheap alternative as a pylon trainer for a friend.
