The only problem with NIMH is that they don't give you much warning towards the
end before they go completely flat. However with almost double the capacity and
some common sense they perform very well especially in Tx. I only use them in
Tx due to limited battery space. All my flying packs are stil NiCd albeit
bigger than standard AA. I haven't tested my Tx lately but I would expect
somewhere around 4 hours of operation for my 9Z which is more than enough. Less
power hungry Tx should be ok with regular batteries. My old Super Seven lasted
7 hours on NiCd.

What's the reason that you won't put NiMH's in the Rx (heli) ?

Just curious.
(I'm running all NiCd's but consider switching)

I have been using nimh in my receivers for 3 years now no problems and they
are also lighter with greater capacity
