eRC p-51 Mustang RTF

Though I check to see if any local interest before going to Perry...

New in box eRC P-51 Mustang RTF $80

Here is a link to the P-51: http://www.hobby-lobby.com/micro_p51_mustang_rtf.htm

Micro P-51D Mustang "Ridge Runner" is the first in a series of authentic Micro Warbirds from eRC. 14-1/2" wingspan, 13-1/2" long, 35 sq. in. wing area, 1.1 oz. flying weight. Ready to fly right out of the box. Comes with 2 flight batteries to keep you flying. The transmitter is a 2.4 GHz 4-channel radio. The P-51 is completely built and decorated in authentic Ridge Runner III colors and includes a pre-installed geared, brushed motor, receiver and proportional servos.

Model can be flown indoors or outdoors in calm winds. For outdoor flights, we recommend using the Micro Warbirds Outdoor Propeller - ERC2015. Designed with the sport flyer in mind - pilots will enjoy the stable flight characteristics, durability, and great scale details. Landing gear are removable, airplane can be flown with or without it. Use the included display stand to showcase your WWII Fighter.

Local pick up only

Hi, a friend just bought one of these and I'm helping him sort it out, but we ran into a problem.
The prop shaft seems to have pulled out a bit and now the gears don't mesh at the nose of the plane. Does anyone know how to get access to the back of the drive shaft ? as I suspect that whatever is meant to hold the gears in position on the shaft has slipped.
Thanks.

We sorted it out, we had to cut an access panel out of the side of the nose to get to the back of the motor. There's a small rubber tube on the shaft that needed to be pushed back into position

Glad you got a fix for it... and sometimes its the easy ones that work best, like the tube on the shaft!
