Don't you mean kindling and noxious fumes?

I was contacted by Lee Rozek, who was a long-time VAM member from the 1980's to the late 90's (I believe). Lee has retired and is selling off his last bipes. Lee doesn't recall the brands of planes or engines. Just that they were hangar queens, (build dates unknown) they are 60" WS (makes 'em IMAA Big bird legal) and have little run time on the mills. Looks to me like a Waco YMF3 and a Stearman. might be worth a look (always happens when I don't have no bucks.). Have at it guys!

Oh man! Why didn't this opportunity come up 3 weeks ago. One new plane in the box and one still on back order makes this purchase impossible. Those are some pretty birds!!!!!!!!!!!!

The biplanes have a new home.

The waco needs a little TLC, and the Stearman needs radio equipment put in. Both engines have not been run in a long time, so hopefully they still run decent. They both have good compression. Fingers crossed.

I think I will get them flight worthy, fly them this year, then find a new home for them.

Lee did express some interest in getting a trainer and getting back into it. So if anyone knows him well, reach out to him and see if we can get another member back in the fold. I told him I would call him when I have them airworthy, so he could come watch them fly. He never flew either one.

Selling a slightly used Magnum XL 1.20 RSF 4 stroke engine. The engine runs great and has had only about 2 gallons of fuel run through it. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have moved into gasoline engines rather then nitro. I still have original box and instruction manual. Selling for $100.00. Used 120 with Zenoah G-23 engine. Servos included. Asking $350 Covering is in good shape probely6-7 out of 10. Has some patches but flys great.
