I'm glad you kept the red plywood plate. I spent some time on that.

Yup. I always liked that plate you created. Modified it so that I could route most of the wiring from underneath for a cleaner setup.

Absolutely won't be dismantling it on purpose flarp.

Joe is biting his fingernails to the quick, questioning his sanity and generally itching to hit the jack daniels. Other then that I'm fine.

Tomorrow morning at 11:30 the blade falls. I should only require a day (or two at the most) at the hospital before coming home. Recovery time will be 4-6 weeks but I'm planning on getting out to the field before that

SUPATIM! Congratulations man! Nice catch, will you have to be out of town more or about the same?

It was a windy one today at MARC.
Highlights & Tragedy Report!

Kody the torque rolling demon.
Kody torque rolled Azhar’s giant Decathlon in blustery winds. Dam he is so good it makes me flippin sick!

CrackYak axis gyro beta testing
I did some more beta testing with my Crackyak in very windy conditions with the Eagletree 3 axis gyro. The Eagletree pretty much locked the Crackyak in, even with my poor control throws. I think the 3D mode will be a great stability training enhancement in my up-coming “Super” FunCub build for MARC trainer days.

Tragedy Strikes at 100 mph!
Earlier in the day Robert said he had a bad feeling. Well folks this was a case of trust your gut and pack it up before it’s to late. On a 100 mph pass with his Outlaw he mid-aired Ian's (a MARC boardmember..utt ooh!) Spitfire with such force it looked like a piņata had just been hit by a cruse missile. The closing speeds were just to great to for either one to react. After the mid-air Robert’s outlaw buried itself like a bunker buster a foot deep in the muddy ground and it looked like he pulled his motor out of a cows behind because of all the mud caked up his forearm. Karma can be a real b#tch!

Robert demonstrated the strength of his character and offered to buy Ian a new airframe. I was equally impressed with Ian, a MARC board member, who handled himself extremely well given one of his best planes got obliterated by someone else. Ian is a good guy.

Here are a couple pics and a video from today's carnage!

Formation crash (1 min 4 sec)

Well, it made for a spectacular crash. Not a huge deal, got more warbirds just like it. Will just have to put together a badder, faster spitfire.

Good name for the interceptor missile though.
