i commented a few days ago about the event i am running in april. some developments on it today have me smiling alot

Kelowna Ogopogo Radio Controllers just a small tidbit, I have commented in the past that this is going to be a family based event. I have come up with a way to soothe the spouses and significant others, I cant reveal to many details yet but I dont know to many that dont like rides in limos that may possibly involve wine tasting. Follow that up with a nice roast beef and veggies meal at the field...........do I have anyones attention yet?

Furball- Thank you for your kind offer. I can't answer for everyone (the 3D Mob). I believe many in our area have precommitted to the Wenatchee Red Apple Flyers Apple Blossom event the following weekend May 4th thru 5th. This may explain the lack of RC Group & Facebook response. I look forward to meeting you & flying with you sometime in the future. One thing is for sure with this group of madmen near spontaneous road trips seem to happen, must be the gas fumes. lol

ya i figured that earl, but one thing i learnt along time ago is if the info isnt given then it really doent matter anyways. i would love to attend the red apple flyers event as well but with as much energy as i am pouring into this one i may need a week off.

Hey everyone. Thought I'd throw this out to the group. Would anyone be interested a 64" EF MXS, yellow, flown 6 times. Just is'nt my cup of tea so to speak. Never crashed, there are 2 blemishes. Have a drop of CA on the canopy, hard to see, and some of the foam on the inside of the turtledeck is gone. Really silly/stupid mistake on my part. Noticed what I thought to be a weak spot/split on the balsa on the mid turtledeck and thought I'd run some CA under the covering in to balsa to reinforce it with a hypodermic needle. Well, the turtledeck has foam covering on the iside of it, add CA to that and it ate it up pretty quick. Can't see anything unless you look down in to the fuselage but its there. Anyway, basically brand new, well built, goes for 259.00 plus shipping so I'd let it go for 200.00 local pick up. Also have a Torque 4016T-500 MKII motor that I picked up with it which has 6 flights on it also, I'd throw that in also for 85.00. Goes for 104.00. Sorry I need the ESC. If anyones interested in either I'd be happy to send some px's. Send me a PM if interested. Thanks all.
