I've been following the thread for those over on Flying Giants.
Pricing seems to be a secret, but from what I've heard...just go with Savox servo's from Azhar

Azhar, you and EG did good.
Watching Heavy D fly that bird...I didn't see any evidence of wing rock in those high alpha sequences.
nice plane guys!

Harv, compliments to your flying..and the cameraman did great!

makes me want to break out in a chorus of "Oh Canada"

Hey Furball.

hows your budget build going?
Whatcha still in need of? Perhaps the gang here might have some spare parts lying about that they would be willing to donate to the cause or sell off dirt cheap.

Let me know what you need and lets see what we can do for a buddy

not going bad really. mostly just have to finish repairing the fuse damage from when the landing gear got ripped off, that part of it is not an issue since in the last 30 years of flying i have aquired all the scraps i need and skills. the local hobby shop just changed owners and i am helping all i can so he is cutting me a payment plan on a dx8 so all i need now is a powersafe receiver and 5 hv servoes. i am the club president up here so i kinda have to do it right and make damn sure its well under 92db too so i dont get bitched at.

Looks awesome Dan. Its alive! The monster is alive.

Hard get the scale prospective from that picture. I assume that your monster raptor takes up at least a half a soccer field and needs a special wide load DOT transport permit. Lol
Are you running the OrangeRx 3 axis gyro on this build. Post some madien vid please as I got called out of town.

Appears much like the Savox', prices too but the MG with ferrit motor types seem like a real bargain

That's a big foamy
Dan was showing off on the first flight attempt, he was doing low hovering and the cobra maneuver. (it was tail heavy)

Then after adding some nose weight he flew her around the field and did a few laps before an unscheduled landing.

It was awesome to see a foamy that big fly around, Nice job Dan.
