It seems like you may have answered this question based on your comments above but let me ask another way.

Is the system architecture functionality smart enough to re-calibrate intended flight position after your TX inputs. In other words, as an example if you pull (elevator) to 45 degree up-line & let go of the tx control input, will the aircraft stay on that relative 45 degree flight path or will the gyro attempt to immediately level the plane out to 0 degrees / straight and level?

No, the gyro will not try to self-level, so you are NOT fighting the gyro. The gyro is working and helping the pilot keeps the plane's attitude and stability, maintaining it's flight position. Unlike other gyro's it wants to "self-level" itself. Helps to have great landings on your precious planes, specially during gusty/windy conditions.

So knife edges, inverteds, level flights, hover, torque rolls are very easy to do. It will also help you land really nice slow, high alpha and etc safely, tracts straight on windy conditions without working on the rudder, ailerons.

Not sure what you need the Gryo for, you did a fantastic maiden and didn't seem to have any trouble landing.

Agreed... that is the coolest scale electric turbine plane I have seen.

wow ya i want to know alot more about the vinyl procedure, that is really cool. i have an 30 year old foam spitfire that i have been thinking of doing something with and that looks like the answer right there.

After I ordered the hobbypartz gyro it I got an out of stk notice as well.

You might try the RX3S OrangeRX 3-Axis Flight Stabilizer V2 from HK. I have one on the way and it looks like a better unit at least aesthetically. I have watched the youtube reviews and it looks solid. We will see if it can produce the gyro voodoo goods in flight. For $18 if your in a procurement hurry it's worth a shot.

They are used by "Arts & Signs" for cars & windows and etc.

I Googled search the HobbyPartz Gyro "IMAGE",
& this is the closest one I could only find when comparing the picture:

Looks like its a "version 2",

while the HobbyPartz is a first version (basic) with less configuration (such as V-tail, etc)

The HobbyPartz manual's "wordings" were the same as the "V2" except the extras on V2.

Got it on order to test out. I like the size & weight for a small indoor foamy. Now if I could just stick some ram on it, have some machine code written so it would fly a perfect autopilot 3D routine sync'd to music...that would be super fun & it would correct for my flight skills. lol
