Indeed you can!
Tim said it best. ”Vic dialed in more throw and unleashed the inner beast of the Gas Monkey within!!”

Nice flying Tim! I am assuming that this footage is when you were just showing off flying one handed or with the TX behind your back.

Crap if I keep hanging around you guys this hobby is going to get really expensive. I'll start standing outside the entrance to MARC with a cardboard sign that reads. "Gasless 3D vet, Please help get me flyin again, Anything helps, 3D Blessing"

Gee Vitter, I turned down the volumn and I couldn't tell the difference between whether you were flying a Gasser or Electric. I guess that means you can already fly your gasser as well as you fly your electric. Congratulations: you are now a Gasser pilot!

That's why I'm joining this year. Plus it's in my backyard. Tenino and Yelm are my old stomping grounds, I just moved back to the other side of the freeway.

Pfeiffer Field has a reputation for big planes and good pilots.

Apparently they have a really nice chunk of cash in the bank for future improvements/land acquisition, something that TCMAA isn't interested in. Even suggesting electricity and solar power I was almost guillotined.

I messed around with those shumate planes several years ago. I didn't have the patience to do all that shaping and sanding, so I ended up building alot of the Maybz (Mike Mayberry from Hitec) flat foamy jets.

Still have one of the functional swing wing F14 jets in the garage that is half completed. It uses a mini servo to make the wings sweep in and out and with some programming of the radio, is tied to the throttle.

My little baby is still bangin around. She's sort of a legend these parts. I'd like to get a new one but I'd feel like I'm cheating.

Guys nice videos, I like those walks in the park.

Tim, is that 330SC as loud as it sounds?

Does Vitter open like he does the electrics, as in the "Vitters Gambit" aka takeoff, wait 100 ms, straight vertical, tumble, KE spin.... ?

Three very short attempts at first flight F-22. I need some practice on that hand launching. It rolled to the left each time. After fixing it, I'll have my friend Tim launch it.

Yes he does and yes it but that's why we rip it up there! Stock muffs and that prop = kickass performance, but I'll have to load it up and turn it down if I ever drag it to MARC.

FPV guys a little heads up from Ian Dougherty today (FPV rules proposal)

Here is what he sent me . Please do not ask me to show you the letter in time (after its approved ) you will get to see it. My hats off for Ian taking the time and effort to help remove the ban for you FPV guys.

Hi everyone,
the FPV rules committee met a couple weeks ago with Alan McSwain in
order to discuss the approach to integrating FPV flying at marymoor.
I drafted the proposed rules based on the comments from that
discussion. I have also included the AMA rules for FPV flying (doc
550) for reference. We will be submitting these rules to the board at
the next BoD meeting, but feedback before then would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Ian Dougherty

Xoar cf 27x10. Louder but performance is great. These newer 111's are definitely gonna need more prop than the old ones!

You should get a Falcon 27x11 CF. I've got a 27x12 on my 120 and the speed as you saw is pretty sick. I want to try the 27x11 on my 120, but haven't got around to it yet. I need a little more punch and a faster spool-up and as much as I love the speed, should slow things down a hair.
