I'm starting with the the Pilot RC 37% Edge 540 with a DA-100L built by Cryhavoc38 (Thanks Cry) and I also got the EG 37% Slick 540 and a DA-120. The Slick won't be done for awhile unless I sell off a bunch of my electric planes fast.

I hear ya Cry.... Great memories for sure!!
(You were a great sport on that sticker thang ).

At Huckfest we talked about arranging a 3D Flash Mob season opener one weekend this coming May at RedApple field. We were told May is a great time of year in Wenatchee and I'd be up for a 3 day weekend of RC aircraft fun with the gang.

Is the group still interested in this??
If so, we start the thinking stage at least.

sounds great.
I joined up to the RAF club whilst at Huck.

The only thing that I have going in May, that I know of, is possibly attending the Zilla Imac contest on the 25th of May

Flying at Red Apple would be a great place for some open sky practice for me

Ok cool... So we'd probably want to target the weekend of May 18th?
Does that work for most of the gang?

Just checked RedApples Site: http://redappleflyers.org/
Currently their 2013 calendar is pretty empty and May is wide open.
I've sent an email to the current president, told him what we're planning (to reserve camping/RV sites for Friday and Sat night the weekend of May 18th) and see if that weekend is indeed open.

We can go from there... sound good to everyone?

EDIT: Screen shot of May weather averages for South Wenatchee attached below.

I was all for the 18th, figured I could bring a couple of my new jets, etc. Asked my wife about it and she got a (not so) funny look on her face and said: "you can spend your 25th wedding anniversary anyway you want" opps

Amen to that brother!

I think anniversarys are sacred, especially the 25th. I'm in the doghouse for not recognizing the date on the calender 4 months in advance!
