I think it will be fun. I got it for a price nobody could turn down. Just needs some TLC. Had to re hinge the elevator and rudder. New stab tube. I ordered a header for the DA 50. But I have to rotate the motor at a slight angle in order to use it. Re plumbed it. Straighten the cabanes. Just a straight beater plane. Just how I like it.

Crack std planes

Does anyone use hk 2s 850 in their crack std planes outside. They are slightly heavier than 3s 460s?

New radio Vitter. Not happy with the Futaba. Thinking about the DX 18. More than I need but I don't like the DX8, too thick and bulky feeling, JR looks good but it reminds me of a cylon from Battlestar Galactica, sorry John LOL, just like the looks of the DX 18 and my DX 7 has been bulletproof since I had it so I'm going back towards Spektrum. DX 18 is slimmer than the DX 8 so it should be okay ergonomic wise.

Loved my DX7 and totally love my JR 9503x, but stumbled across a deal on a DX18 I couldn't pass up! Mine will be here on Friday...

I pulled the trigger based on Kody's feedback. Like I said I LOVE my 9503x but really want to use the temp and voltage telemetry for my bigguns'.

I wouldn't spend too much time studying that if I were you Tim

I ordered the Futaba 14SG from Tower Hobbies to get some telemetry features but it's backordered until 0 dark hundred. Anybody know of an outfit that might have one in stock? I've googled around but came up dry, I thought they were supposed to ship in December. If I didn't have such a large investment in receivers I would consider a different brand, especially when I found out the GPS sensor is priced at $180.00
