Weather permitting I'm going to try out one of those carbon tipped Xoar's on the DA120 to see if I can get the DB's down. If the weathers crap I'll just bring the CYL and fly in the rain!
The current forecast (weather underground, Redmond, WA) is for %0 precipitation, winds less than 5 mph, high around 42 degrees F for both Saturday and Sunday (12/08-12/09). Kinda chilly but no rain, almost no wind. There's actually a chance of snow overnight Sun-Mon. Whatever falls won't stick around though with daytime highs in the low 40s.

So, I'll be out at MARC sometime during the weekend, depending on what "clearance" I get from the home town.

Wow a 2g rx.

I haven't try it however I did shed 8g from my Futaba Parkflyer RX by removing the plastic case. I was also thinking about trying to inject helium into the EPP foam but that just might be overkill. But I was thinking about it. lol

I have about 6 of these from Hobby King receivers in various aircraft, and have had no problems with them. I checked this morning on shipping options, with just 1 of these in my cart, the only two shipping options offered were self pickup in Lakewood, WA or $10.46 UPS small parcel. Not sure why USPS was not an option.

$6.10, USA Warehouse
3.7g without case
9.8 grams with case

For shites and giggles, I added 1 and then 5 to my cart.
Even though it shows the usps priority live rate of $4.99, during checkout, you are right, overpriced UPS or local pickup only
