Nice Flop, looks like you have lotsa room. I think we should call it the "FlopMobeel". You can trick it out with vinyl decals on the outside and everything.

You might surprise yourself... I have embedded a quote from the Crack Yak Thread. Durability enhancements come with a slight weight penalty. Use the glue strategically & sparingly. Oh and don't sniff it. Bad Bad for you & your plane might turn out a little wacky looking.

Also, I am working virtual (from home / Redmond) call me if you would like your crack wood parts kit.

Very nice write up and build. Good job. You are very correct on your thoughts that an other 20 grams can be shed. My standard version Crack Yak has a RTF weight of 175 grams or, without gear, 164 grams. (Crack Lite RTF weight is 148 grams) This setup uses a 300 mah 35-70C 2S battery.
(FYI: All built with thin CA)

Enjoy your Yak....cheers...

Thanks for the insight. Both you & Supatim have made the suggestion. I think I had better listen & get a 8x4 on the nose.

The SBACH is coming along. Having a great time putting this sexy airframe together. (Own it flop!!' She's SEXY!!)

nice curves on that airframe, but best not to say it around your wife.... you dont want to end up in "the dog house."

Looking forward to seeing you. Are you coming at 2:00 or before?
Weather permitting I'm going to try out one of those carbon tipped Xoar's on the DA120 to see if I can get the DB's down. If the weathers crap I'll just bring the CYL and fly in the rain!
