It's true that Betty flies *a lot* better after the crash. Maybe the CG was too far forward and the sticks, splints, casting and 6 oz of CA balanced it.

the elevator has way more authority. She pulls from high alpha into a straight up hover with ease now. Before the crash I had to wag the rudder before.
I'm a believer, a little CG goes a long way.

when i had the SD models extra, i was flying it fairly nose heavy and it was great for imac. it would still freestyle but it took more work from the elevator. I went from a 28.5x12s 3 blade to a 30x12 2 blade at molalla and it was a tottally different animal. Probably my favorite motor can prop combo. DA-150, mtw110 30x12 mej

Harv, I'm putting together the goldwing sbach 342 100cc. I have a DA100 with stock exhaust. Any recommendation on props?

Hey guys, I have a Great Planes Performance Series Ultimate Biplane 3D 1.60 ARF I repaired from a hard landing. Motor box came loose on a dead stick landing in the weeds. I have done all the structural work just need a little finish work. Would be great for a 40-50cc. Im sticking with 30cc and below. 100$ or trade for a few HV servos, 6s 5000 20-40c battery’s, 48-60" airframe or ?????? I will not ship so I thought I would offer here first.
PS also looking for a dynatron!

On my 35% SD extra with a da100 on stock mufflers. My favorite prop was a 27x10th mejlick. But I'm sure a regular 27x10 would work fine. The throttle was just more responsive with the TH prop

We should ask the resident experts about the Falcon propellers. One of the Extra 300's at the Huckfest has a 27x12 falcon on it and I though it was very quiet on a DA-120. I can't remember which of the Holman brothers had that setup right now but hopefully Daniel can let us know. I believe he said it was not so good for 3D, mostly because of the high pitch.

Falcon makes a 27x11 that I want to try out on my DA-100L. I want to find a good 2-blade that can make sound at the MARC field.

I've got a Falcon 27x12 on my Extra and it isn't ripping at all. My 120 is on stock mufflers, so it's not quiet, but the prop itself isn't loud. I could pylon race my 104" Extra with that prop, but it really doesn't pull it's weight in 3D.
Lots of guys are running the Falcon 27x11 and are really liking it. I would like to try one in the near future.
For what it's worth, the Falcon CF props are wood props with some carbon over them. They're not built like a Mejzlik. Not saying that they're sub-par, but that's how they're built.
The Mej 27x10TH is an excellent prop as well.
