Yes, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The smell of those scratch built pies in the kitchen is killing me...As soon as I got home from work today I went upstairs and passed out until about 1:30am. I woke up to the wonderfull smell of 4 fresh baked hand made pies cooling in the kitchen.

I wonder if she would notice a slice missing from that dutch apple pie...hmmm

I guess the lesson learned is.....if your cars quarter panel barely makes contact with someone elses car.....don't jerk your car completely off the road and fishtale through a field of grass.

I thought the person recovered, but coming back there was a whole accident scene. Didn't look like anyone was hurt though.

waaa??? They have this as an option?

Yeah... it's been an option on the shipping page for about 2 months.
There have been a couple of FGF guys that have personally picked up their orders in Tacoma and say it works well... esp on larger orders (ie planes).

Happy Turkey Day everyone!!

It's warm & dry indoors. See ya soon- Barn Owls.

Happy Thanksgiving 3D hoodlums.

Be safe, pace yourself on the turkey, leave room for pie & recover just in time for late night leftovers.

Bounce the lite or std debate off Supatim or Jewitt (Hercdriver)

From what I have read & heard.:

-Lite on 2s 250 to 325mah with a 9x4.5 prop is the great indoors. Thinner EPP and slower flight speed.

-Std on 2s 250 to 350mah with a 9X4.5 prop is good indoors and a bit more crash resistant but not quite as floaty.

-Std on 3s 450mah with a 8x4.3 prop is great outdoors and is light wind tolerant.

Frankly with your skills you could fly a brick and make it look good.

I went with their motor but hobbyking everything else. Cheap $3 blue 9g servos. You flew mine so you know what the "worse case scenario" flies like!

You change out that plug?

Got mine going yesterday with HK power. I was up till 3:30-4am under the streetlights.

I prefer the 2s 460mah packs over the 300mah. Properly weighed mine by leaning it against the wall yesterday and it came out to 6.09oz with the 300mah and 6.38oz with the 460mah. with the heavy APC prop.

Setting up mixes was the key to make it track on rails.
