Heres a BIG Thank You, to everyone who helped me out during the field repair. Kody, Harv, Cry, Flop, Greg, D-Man, Gareth, Supatim. This hobby attracts some awesome people, and it is truly a privilege to fly and hang with you guys! Without all of your help yesterday Big Betty would still be in two pieces.
There is one man in particular that really helped me for a long time... But.. I forgot his name. Anyway. THANKS AGAIN GUYS!! Supatim might have re-named big betty last night. "Bumble". She's like a bumble bee, she shouldn't be flying. Any other ideas? |

This is such a great group to be a part of, I consider it a privilege. I had a blast, and wish I could have stayed over thru today. I left Huckfest inspired to become a better 3D pilot and craving the sound of a gasser
 Thanks to all for your support and encouragement at my Jet fixation. The Spark posted 164 and 171 mph runs! A special thanks to Victor and Robert for helping me get the thing back on the ground in one piece. You guys are the best

 Big betty got some more character this weekend. D-Man is striking a pose, and adding some ink! Check out the awesome SIGS on big Betty's DIGS!  Team Repair. Thanks to my RC Brothas  Huckfest is a family event. Supatim showing us how it's done. |

Absolutely agree with the high quality & caliber people this sport attracts. It was both a privilege & a pleasure to hang out with all of you guys for a couple of days. I just continue to take it in & learn from each member of the Mob. Thanks for sharing your wisdom with a 3D rookie. Flarpy again you are a mad man & a flat out miracle worker. I left at 5:30pm on sat to have dinner with my wife & your extra was in pieces & complete disarray. We return at 8:30pm to watch the night fly & there you were with what I thought was a ghost plane now miraculously resurrected from the dead, flying once again & lighting up the night sky. While luck & fate were certainly not on your side this weekend. What never faltered & never yielded was your positive attitude & never quit determination. In my opinion you have got the stuff legends are made of Flarpy. Hat’s off to ya! |

Flying Giants 2012 Wenatchee Huckfest!
For the guys that didn't make it out there's just 3 words, BEST WEEKEND EVER!!! Everyone that was there knows what I'm talking about! The caliber of pilots and talent was light years beyond last year and the event was just bigger and badder than before. Non stop flying from kids to pros and everything in between. Was awesome to see the boys again as it's been way too long. Nice to meet the new guys and welcome to the unregulated, no size or noise restriction world that I love so dear... I have a lot of pics to sift through from the wife's camera, SupaSis's cam, and SupaTim Beta's but here's a few of my favorites so far:

To all my PNW brothers I got to hang out with this weekend...A big thanks for a great time.
Although by the end of the weekend we were all pretty beat and tired of the heat, this was a very fun weekend! Here's a pic of most of the area we occupied. From Dman in the foreground to robert in the background..Just beyond that is where Joe G and Joe K were based. Good Times!
