On that note. Tim, is your foamy light buddy going to be an HF? If not can you just bring the set that I ordered.
Regarding length, I really haven't decided what I'm putting it on. If he could just leave as much length as he can.

I can PayPal him the money or give it to you, what ever is easier.

It would have been much more agile without all that heavy gear, wow.

Good question.... Is anyone planning on selling a 30-50cc gas or electric RTF in the near future?

Requesting advise and/or help:

Last week when Chris was filming I brought my Extreme Flight 60" Extra across the runway in a low knife edge (4-6ft) and hit low voltage cut-off.... I forgot to reset my timer on the Tx!

The only damage sustained was a cracked landing gear, and a broken horizontal stab.

Can someone provide me with some advise in repairing the horizontal stab? My strength is not building as most of you know..... thanks

Extreme Flight's planes are designed where the whole horizonal stab and elevator can come out whole due to the back of the fuse being open. The rudder just has to be removed.

See example pic.

I like this design along with the rudder set-up, which is not pull-pull

You'll learn quick!!

My remedy a few months ago was
Bottle of CA, basswood plank, #11 exacto, a couple Boston Lagers and time.

It doesn't look too bad really. Cut and fit some balsa to fill in those holes and glue everything back like a puzzle...just make sure she is smooth and level when you glue it back in. Some ultracote work and nobody will ever know.

OR you can get the Elevator/Stablizer set for 35.+ shipping.

Chet,

since that came out pretty clean, you will probably just have to remove some of the jagged balsa chunks to get a smooth surface, put some new balsa sheeting on, and then refit the stab back into place to see if there is alot of up/down play. If there is, then you can do it a couple ways.

Either refit the stab back into position and use 30 min epoxy to give yourself some time to make sure its aligned properly before the opoxy sets, or you can put the stab in place, align it, and then put some balsa shims around the areas where there are gaps. Making sure, all the time, that the stab is aligned and even with the main wings.

Once you have it shimmed with some scrap balsa, just drip thin CA all around to reattach it.
