I'm itching for a decent foamy to fly around on cheap 3s 1350mAh packs.

You guys swear by your dwfoamies.

Good choice.

Also good to see you all out at Marymoor on Sat. As usual, this group has the best looking and flying planes around I think.

Cry, definitely go with a 40" DW. They fly just like your 30% plane. I would also recommend the Dynamo power package.

There are 3 40 inch D-Dubs, Juka, Edge and Extra. Of those 3 the Juka is the wildest and quickest, and will perform the most tricks. The Extra is a little longer and flies big, that's the best choice for precision. The Edge is between the two. I would just choose the one that looks the best to you.

I'll fly, or try to fly, anything.

Ok, the edge cuz I like the way it looks, and/or the 33" Skua because I like the video from XPress of the way it flys.

Foamy recommendation for 3DHS

Ben recommends the Twisted Hobbys Vector. He said he has flown alot, and if you want a foamy for 3D training to transition into the real thing, his opinion that this was the best. 3DHS is currently working on having there own out in 4-6 months that Scott Stoops has helped develop.

Here is the weblink to the product:

Here is a video on it flying:

Vector from Twisted Hobbies (5 min 26 sec)

They have a power set up you can buy with it, and I am leaning towards this one right now.

I have flown 2 of Flopgun's DWs, and as a 3D flyer in basic training, the Juka flew great, but almost too easy to hover to me.
