I just used the 'forgot my password' function using my email and it sent me a password if I remember correctly. Then I logged in.

I guess what I am saying is that I am not registered to "sign on" and I don't see where I can register for an online account.

An account was made for me using the email address I provided on the form I submitted when I signed up for membership. Since no one ever gave me a password, I just used the forgot password function and entered in that email address. An email was dispatched containing a generic generated password allowing me to log on. If you provided an email address on the membership application, chances are there exists an account under that email address.

Hope this helps.

BTW - I got in several flights today at MAR-C before the rain. I finally got my CC BEC Pro back from Castle, fixed up to V2, and reinstalled into my 65" Vyper. I haven't flown that plane in like 3 months. Good to get it back in the air again. I had all but forgotten how awesome it is and how cool big planes look doing slow and low fly-bys. Fun! Maybe tomorrow's weather will be better. I might just make it out tomorrow as well. Anyone else?

You can vote anytime between November 8th and November 16th. If you'd rather vote in person, please come to the meeting on the 18th, where we'll have paper ballots for anyone who hasn't already voted electronically.

Your user name should correspond to the name on your MAR-C member card, with the following formatting:
firstname.lastname
so if your name is John Smith, the user name would be:
john.smith

If you don't have, or have forgotten, your password or user name, you can set up a new one by clicking on the "Forgot Password?" button under the member login section of the home page. This will allow you to generate an email message with a link to reset or create a new password.
Directions from the e-mail I received from MARC

so cry your user name should be chuck.frady - just use the "Forgot Password"

yeah, no worky. tried all iterations of my name and capitalization.
No joy.

I guess he/she won't get my vote this time around.

on a happier note, the Extra 300 is all better now. About 30 minutes of woodwork and a quick covering patch job and she is solid now.
The damage was very minimal and didn't involve any load bearing structure. Mainly the internal cannister box walls.

I'll take the $300 savings!

FYI Tankgirlfuzzy is Lucienne, but I'm sure many of you know that already.
You can vote for up to three candidates, I voted for Lucienne, Brian, and Mike Powell.
I've seen Mike at both MAR/C and 60 acres on occasion, he's a real laid back guy.
Although he's an older gasser, I really appreciate his attitude and friendliness. I like him also because he's not one of the "nay-sayers" and he's also a pretty good pilot.

haha..

well it could still be romantic.
AND he doesn't have to tell her that the fella's and their wives will be there too. It could be all "coincidence".
LOL

Besides, the wives, I'm sure, wouldn't mind hanging out together...shopping and shootn the shite.

I will say that I WILL NOT CRUISE on Carnival cruise lines though.

No warm beer, poptarts and spam for me thank you...

Sometimes misadventures from vacations can be fun. I mean, how memorable do you think that Carnival cruise was? The folks on that cruise will be telling funny stories for years.

that is true.
while I'm sure some were complaining up and down about the issues there, others were taking it all in stride.

Read a story that on the last night, alot of people were drinking free wine around a bar, singing old songs.

Make the best of the situation at hand.
the whiners can stay in their rooms.

Tell you what though, those who had an ocean side suite were most likely better off.

Deanna and I had a suite and let me tell you, wouldn't have it any other way with regards to having a deck with reclining chairs and all the fresh ocean air we wanted!

Cruise Line Memories

Cry shared the first pic shown here of what he thought was Carnival lines. He said it was romanic in the fact that they were alone together, but he did not like the amenities.

My last cruise line experience was for adrenaline junkies only as we plunged down a pretty good size waterfall with the cruiseship (see pic). This was very memorable.
