Raptorski: another 6mm depron slot-jet
Here are some pictures of my slot-jet Raptorski.
Modeled after the PAK FA Sukhoi T50 jet that maidend a couple of weeks ago.
Inspiration is (obvious) the F22 build thread here at rcgroups.
Motor: eMAX CF2822
BEC: 18 Turnigy
Battery: 3s1000mah Lipo
Prop: 8x6 APC-Style
Total weight is about 480g
It flies very good. Stable like a jet with lots of elevator authority, but it is also very stable.
Roll rate could be better, maybe i will add ailerons later. 1 roll per second is possible at the moment.
Its not very fast, but i plan to experiment with props in the near future. The slot can be increased to fit 9" props if needed, but i plan to install so a 9x8 prop cut back to 8" diameter.

HugePanic been trying to figure out how to hide all the radio gear battery etc. very nice build.
The wing is all one piece right through to the tip of the fuse ????. Can you please show where your battery is.
Any chance of a straight on from the front up slightly picture so that I can see the shape of the fuse please.

here is a picture, the best i have for the moment.
basically it's pretty easy, since all the stuff is inside the fuse....
the wing is is one part of flat foam. fuse obove, pods below.
i just added the tail and nose section to the center piece, to save material.
(the idea was to use just one sheet of 0.8m x1.25m depron)
