that fuel has 15% oil content; I'm not sure since I can't find what Kyosho recommends. Their website is inscrutable and their instruction manuals aren't much help.

You go a long way, Alex, to find your answers when you could have stayed at "home".
Take a look at the fuel page on the Just Engines web site - see http://www.justengines.unseen.org/ac...Fuel_Info.html.
My personal choice Superglo 10 (20% oil)

you don't want to run car fuel in a marine motor. You should get some marine specific nitro fuel like the O'donnel hydro fuel.

The boat fuel should have a higher oil content than car/truck nitro. Marine engines are under a tremendous amount of load. Much more than any car or truck. I run the O'Donnell 50% nitro in my boat and love it. Have fun!

I run K&B 3.5 outboard on a Dumas Hot shot tunnel

I use 30percent nitro ,the engine was stalling on anything less and would not maintain idel .I think 50 percent is too much for my needs.
