James,

I messed up and crashed Snoopy One-One, amazing though no major damage done, totally repairable.

is it possible to get replacement parts? I only need the center section for both the upper and lower wing.

I got it. Double check your fuselage stick, they do not ship well by them self's.

James,

I can get a fuse stick locally, all I need are the wing center sections, i.e. laser cut bulsa & ply parts which fuse the wing sections and mount to the fuse and the center carbon struts.

my center carbon struts survived but are fused to the broken mounts and I don't think I could seperate them without breaking.

the wing sections, outboard struts and tail all survived.

I am going to use an aluminum fuse because of the heavy lipo and added sound system.

thanks for your support

Is this the thin aluminum that GWS sells? Or is there a new one I don't know about? The stock GWS that originally came with the slow stick will bend from the additional weight. I always had to reinforce it.

I usually add some spruce inside to strengthen the fuse. there is also a fiberglass fuse that I may consider. the LHS stocks them all.

the added weight helps the wing loading!

James,

I stopped at RadicalRC today and got a new fuse to start the repair process. The fuse I got is a black aluminum fuse which is round on the inside of the fuse (not square), meaning that the corners of the fuse are thicker and much stronger than the standard ones.

James,

I was wrong, this fuse is actually CF, but it's thicker & stronger than the stock ones. I thought it was aluminum because of the weight, the finish and the tink sound it makes when you tap it.

James,

I went ahead and bought the repair parts even though I have Snoopy One-One back together, I may need them in the future, a good insurance policy.

Thanks,
