Any GOOD ship tracking sites?
You can track most any ship with the AIS system... but the few websites I've found that offer free access really stink. One for example can't find a specific ship at all (my kid is on the cruise, and I KNOW she's out there... somewhere); another finds the ship, only reports a few of the hourly locations, usually a day old.
Plenty others that require registration and even subscriptions... more power to them, but I'm not THAT interested...

I use the same source as Umi. Been fun watching the action in the Northern part of Puget Sound/ Burraerd Inlet/ Salish Sea with the Olympics going on. Heck go there and check out all the traffic in the Frasier River vancouver area---busssy!
