NEW generation Hobie Hawk: SuperHawk

Hello all,

For those who love those flowing lines of the Hobie Hawk as we do, then this will be of interest to you.

After over a year in development my colleague Tony J. at Synergy Composites has developed what we are calling "SuperHawk" and we will have a VERY LIMITED number of them for sale...

The SuperHawk has a lengthened fuselage and a modified airfoil on 10 foot wings with a 30% larger rudder.

The goal was to improve the performance and handling of the original Hobie Hawk while keeping the beautiful lines that made the Hobie Hawk a legend.

These will be availible for $450. A 50% deposit will be required and then the other 50% plus shipping when the plane is ready... these are built one at a time!

The SuperHawk's fuselage is epoxy-fiberglass and carbon fiber reinforced construction with a larger 3/8" wing rod (stock is 5/16") and then an added 11" in overall length.

The wings and tail feathers are constructed in a very similar way as the originals using ply over foam with routed rib bays. The wings have carbon fiber in the root areas for added strength. The wings are available with a SD-7037 or RG-15 airfoil.

The overall appearence is of a large, sleek and stretched Hobie Hawk.

How does it fly? AWESOME!

Instead of going into everything in detail here, please check it out on the website, just go to the SuperHawk page:

Thanks!
