More than a few times I've seen Doug pop up when he's been talked about, someone has a question or just about anything to do with Mountain Models. This in spite of the fact that he still works a day job, has a family, gets all his orders out pronto, usually answers the phone himself at home when I call with stupid questions as to how I screwed up yet again yet remains patient, cuts balsa for more kits, always has something new and cool on the design board and still has time to go flying and attend fly-ins all over the place.

This is creepy. I think he has clones...

Isn't it amazing what a focused hyperactive person can do!
That is meant as a complement to you Doug.

I have also heard that extremely lazy people are the best to deal with. That is because they do it right the first time because they don't want to do it again. But this isn't the case with Doug, because he does so many repetitive task well, like answering the same questions over and over. He makes all of his customers feel special and that is a gift.

Saw Doug at SEFF and I have to agree with LcJ. I had several long discussions with Doug (in between purchashing sessions with him and his running mate Azarr...) and he answered all of my questions with interest and an obvious passion for the hobby (even though it was probably for the 27th time that day!).

My hat is of to you, Doug!
