If Kin has the overall length and the wheel size I am sure he will be able to work out the yoke size needed and construct it from there. Or alternatively you could add the dimensions into his photo based on your wheel size and length

Oh and as for quantity, I will need at least 3 and I know J needs 2 or three as well. That is just two of us not including all the people in the Tamjets thread or on the Tamjets board.

I am a definite for 2 but only one for the 16, the other for a different project.

I managed to configure a 90 degree turn on a mechanical retract for a large foamie by limiting the slide of the pushrod on the strut steering arm. Maybe by converting the steering from pull pull to push rod may help this issue. I am not sure though as mine is still boxed in storage. It seems to be a rolling 6-8 week before I get back home.

How's the F-20 going Kin?? I have noticed strong renewed interest in all sizes now. sub 70mm, 70mm and ??? It really is the perfect subject. J

These two styles would probably be the best for the strut. I've thought about changing the pull pull wire to a pushrod style but I cannot figure out how it would work at all.

Woohoo, Thanks for staying on it guys. My wife will kill me when they eventually turn up. I had a deal where I would replace my fleet rather than expand it and I have run out of places to stash them !

See HET has the right idea with their dampening on their F-16 but it needs more angle.

Funny Rob,

I bought a farm so I could fly my jets without killing anyone and not have to worry about regs and rules. Problem is there is no house on it yet and I am fighting the authorities to build what I want, not what they think I should want. Its hard to keep the pressure up when I am out of town so often. That will solve all my problems when I finally get it done!

Kin I think you might be very surprised the amount of people who want this strut especially if it's done right.

A big single EDF will always be an easier model to get airborne than a twin and perform better than a model that looks like a twin but has a big single with bifurcated exhausts.

Come on Wilerbee - use some influence and push yours and my favourite project up the list.

I say there is a line but in reality everything is done in parallel. I will try to speed up the development.
