The new Airfield F-4 has some really nice features, such as wing tanks and Sparrow missiles, though the Sparrows are mounted on the wing pylons....these need to be cut off and moved down to the bottom of the fuselage...some Sidewinders fashioned out of dowels and styrene mounted on the pylon helps...so do the Mk. 82, low drag bombs from Parkflyer Plastics...activated the rudder for better landing control...cockpit will get the next mod, as the kit supplied, one (unpainted) pilot won't cut it...also, landing gear is not in the right spot and would be a pain to move, but overall, the model is a good size and the outline is very close...got the airframe-only from Nitro...

The pilots are "True Heroes Figures" from Toys R Us. It's not that fast. More of a scale flier which looks great in the air and on the ground.

I grow up with SEA schemes on A-7Ds, F-4s, C-130s and HH-3E Jolly Greens.
