I'm definately not saying that the eFlight gear will hold up over time the way they are stock (and I questioned him using them many times) as my landings were for the most part greasers.
All 5 times I took off and landed on grass and it handled it just fine.
So before you make a statement insinuating that the seller told you something false on a public forum, I suggest you get your facts straight.
I know the seller and although he isn't an experienced builder yet, I don't believe he would not have told you the truth.

I bought a set which has metal frames. He customed fitted the struts and trailing links to suit already cut wheel wells.

As you know, Tam has has new CNC machining capability. Give him a call. He might have the larger units too.

I run on landing gear with plastic trunions rated for 5 kilos and I have never broken a trunion. The key is to have the pin/strut bend before anything fails. On ocassion the plastic plate securing the gear breaks and I have to put a new one on. My landing gear solution is clearly not the best, but it's a lot cheaper and easier to fix than the eflite 60-120 retracts.

I would expect 120A or so and 7.5kg thrust with strong new packs like yours. Would really like to hear yours running in the nacelle, I am thinking about putting this new setup into the trim-air Sabre I have sitting in storage
Any news regarding this motor?

Got my used Falcon refurbished and ready to go! Just need a day below 95 degrees to fly!
I worked up some fun fantasy racer graphics (printed by Kirby's Graphics), new norray canopy, kitbashed a new cockpit and made ABS main wheel well area panels. Will use two TP 5s saddle packs and 2s booster, and will stick with the E Flite retracts until they give out.
I really like the look!
