Same stuff in a larger tube. I actually prefer the smaller tubes since they have a small tapered applicator tip vs the larger mouth of the silver tubes.

Lowe's stocks Welder Adhesive here in the Indianapolis area. You may want to check your local Lowe's.

Lowes Home Improvement or you can buy it direct from here. The tubes I get from them are the red ones that most everyone is familiar with.

Just make sure to look on the end isles too. I was in the glue/paint section, and couldn't find any, and the guy helping said he'd never heard of it. Started walking toward the back and found it on an end isle.

I've started a list of places to buy Welder glue in the first post. Please let me know if you have other suggestions.

For EPP I tested this glue called Quick Grip. It works awesome. You can get it at any crafts store. Also they have UHU glue there. Lots of options for EPP. Welders is just one of them. There's a craft store a mile from my house. All sorts of glues there. Don't get hung up on Welders and spend $15 for a tube of it shipped. Quick Grip is like $3-4 for a 2 ounce tube. I actually made a test hinge out of it too. Works great. On my test piece of EPP, the next day I pulled until the foam started to pull apart. It wouldn't break at the glue seam. That was impressive. So I'm using it for gluing the entire plane. It's very similar to UHU pour but it might melt certain types of foam. Always test a piece first. EPP is no problem. It melted the surface of my Shock flyer test piece of foam. It's Depron. So this would be only for EPP so far. Quick Grip dries into a clear rubber. Very strong.

Another option is UHU Por. That's available at my local hobby store.

The only reason I'm posting all this is because a bunch of my buddies and I bought EPP planes and can't find Welders glue locally. Our Lowes doesn't carry it.

Both of the links below would charge me almost $8 for shipping. I'd just buy it at a local crafts store and save a lot of money.

PS: Just got back from Walmart. They had Quick Grip in their fabric section for $1.97. Now that's a good price.....no shipping.

I've bought so much Welders glue I've actually gotten bad batches of it. Just recently had a tube that the glue was a dark rust color and hardened way too much.

Try Loctite Stick N' Seal Original or Loctite Automotive. Virtually the same as Welders and sold at a lot more places. I get mine at Wall Mart. Makes excellent glued hinges on Epp also.

Actually for a lot of us there aren’t that many options. I walked many craft and hardware stores in my area, and the glues I found were reported to be inferior to welders by other forum members and from the very few I tried. UHU por is great if you can get it, I rather spend 4 or 5 dollars that welders costs and get it on the way back home rather than spend twice in an online store and wait a week.
