[RCSE] New load in amps from changing prop sizes

repost as the first message has not arrived on the list from Sat.

Hi

Can anyone give me a formula for calculating the different expected load from changing prop sizes. I would be applying it to the known load for my motor with the current prop size.

Thanks in advance.

RE: [RCSE] New load in amps from changing prop sizes

I use Pcalc from the website www.flydma.com <http://www.flydma.com/> to
calculate the different amps I would be pulling from different prop sizes on
my motors.

Aloha to all on RCSE,

I use MotoCalc
http://www.motocalc.com/

The formulas are available, but not worth the pencil time.
A series or articles on the subject is at:
http://rcgroups.com/links/index.php?...at=213&id=4069

A web-based calculator (not as advanced or as accurate):
http://brantuas.com/ezcalc/dma.asp

There is another program calculator available, but I've not
run across a link to it yet.
