Can you be more specific about how you test this and what the outcome should be?
Does this make more sense:

Can you stop the servo from turning by holding the elevon?

Tell me a better way to say it and I'll change the words.

You should have laminated the wing and elevons first, then e tape the two pieces together then laminate over the tape.

Laminate wing. Double-laminate both elevons. Hinge the elevons to the wing, top and bottom, with the 1" wide strip of tape. Finally, laminate over the tape (again, top and bottom) with a 2" wide strip of laminate.

Done.

Well, you don't want to shrink it so I think the method was watch to see at what setting water boils off and right about there supposedly is good

Take some scraps of laminate and iron them to the your box to get the feel and temperature right.

The laminate can take more heat than the foam. If you see the foam is changing shape your ironing too hot. Stop immediately and cool the iron.

I have a water spray bottle my my bench to rapidly cool the iron if needed.

I have an iron cover, it gives me a good safety margin on the heat of the iron. I find it extremely helpful for the$2 or whatever it costs. Glides smooth over the laminate as well.

Hey all, how does this look for an ESC for the Deep Reaper XL?

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...C_4A_UBEC.html

With a 4A BEC built in will I need a separate? I would be running this with the 35/36 1400W 550 Turnigy motor. Going to also pick up the BMS 620MG servo's. That should get me off to a good start....

Thanks,

Paul

Wise words. I will grab one as well. The ESC would be suitable though?

Cheers,

Paul

Looks suitable to me. I picked up an 80a one but I got the 3536 1800kv 70a is plenty. Your external bec can run your fpv gear as well
