Kinda. The best I did. Is this supposed to be 3/8ths up from center stick and 3/8ths down from center stick? (wherever your elevons are trimmed)

These are the other settings on my transmitter:

Elevon

Ail1 100 100
Ail2 100 100
Ele1 100
Ele2 -100

E.Point
Ail 75% 75%
Ele 75% 75%

I don't like expo programed into the mixing on my wings.

I recently discussed on the Assassin thread that one of the young new flyers got help from a member of our club who programed his radio with expo. The 13 year old flyer later came to me for more help and when I put his plane up I felt like it was out of control. I wasn't surprised he couldn't fly it. It didn't feel like it was doing what I was telling it to do.

I had to make major movement in the sticks to get a small amount of control and then it would all at once grab hold. I thought something was wrong with his linkages but a ground test showed it was the expo programing. I took all the expo out of his programing and he instantly felt in control of the plane.

I like to make the decision of how the plane is behaving and don't like the radio modifying my inputs. I rarely use expo but will occasionally program in some dual rates for high speed rolls and other stunts.

I like to use two fingers on the sticks and not fly with the thumbs instead of using exponential programing and teach that to all of the flyers I assist.

I'll see how she feels tomorrow without expo. I also edited my post. You ninja'd me.

Do you guys have a choice to use PCM or PPM on your transmitters? If so which do you use?

Oh boy,.... ya don't change that!

PPM is the standard pulse mode for 2.4 ghtz. pcm is the standard for the 72 mhtz frequencies.

Hey Lee, You mentioned that the blue motor from HobbyPartz has a different bolt pattern than the 3530 that we use from Hobbyking.
Can you elaborate a little?
So does it still fit (without modification) the motor mount that you ship with the crashtesthobby planes?
Are you using one and if so what do you think?

This is exactly what I have found, I know when I was a kid one good controlled flight was a good day, (I have been around so to say) but I have tried all the latest stuff as it has come out for decades and most of it is good, BUT for me expo in most planes never fully lived up to it press, and is a hindrance to the "feel" of a plane on the sticks.
Answer me this riddle;
Why do people buy $100 servos each (or more) used with a radio with the maximum number of steps (max resolution) fantastic high quality gimbals for smoothness and perfect control and run tones expo! I have seen this exact setup more than you think.
