Pictures of what? A Y balancing harness is just a bunch of wires. The two displays do not photograph well together as one is backlite and the other is not and the Quanum swaps (no signal) when close to the transmitter.

If you are asking how the just in parallel as if you were balancing two packs in parallel.

Got my unit today! I cant wait to try it out this weekend. I never mounted it on the antenna but instead installed it to my radio strap clip. It fits perfect and not i don't have to worry about some potential binding issues some are saying might happen if you bolt it right around the radio antenna. It leaves plenty of room under the unit to reach all the toggles and trims. Plus the radio still fits perfectly in my flight kit.

I will do the testing on my cub first so if something happens its no big loss, cheap and easy to fix. I secured the transmitter into the fuselage and notched the battery try to allow the balance plug leads to stick out. see pic. Plenty of room available in the belly for the antenna for the transmitter also.

Charles, no effect at all <in other words it does not disturb charging/balancing?>

No effect at all that I can detect. Now I can get more than 10 feet from a liPoly being charged without having to rush back to my charging area every few minutes.

Think about it. The transmitter uses very little current(30 mA?) I have not verified this as yet and is a load not a resistence.

Thanks Charles. I would only use this in flight to help diag a problem <let a spotter read it>. However for at home charging this is a plus!

Can I bind it to say more then one RX and switch between them if I charge more then 1 pack at a time?

Thanks!

polarity protection

Curious if the transmitter is protected against plugging in the balance leads backwards. Anyone done this yet?

Alarm fix

Has anyone tried putting 100 ? ohm resistors in series between the battery and transmitter to knock the volts down by .5 for each cell. Maybe a small diode would be better. This would give relative volts and the alarm would be at a more practical 3.6 volts. This could be done with a small circuit board plug in. As it is now, the alarm just tells you when your battery pack is destroyed.

I like this thing but I'm going to hold out for the next revision.

I'd like to see adjustable voltage levels for the alarm and I'd like to see extensive audible alerts. At a minimum two alarms, one for "start thinking about landing" and one for "get it on the ground right now!" It would be even neater(is that a word? ) if it would verbally announce the voltage every minute and then alarm at whatever you had it set to. 3.5/3.6 sounds good to me.
