I agree. Any idea as to when it will become available in the US?

Ed is right or just pull an casting off the inside of the ducting over the nose wheel location. Then pour a positive of the casting you made and sculpt with some clay the blister. Make a mold of that and lay one up and blend it in to the intake. Works every time. Worked well for my scratch built ME P. 1101. I have to get one two. Vintage jets are the best IMHO.

does anyone know if the eflite bae hawk can be bungee or hand launched? If so how do you mount the hook? I have no paved runways in Monmouth County NJ. Even with paved runways this plane looks hard to land since it comes in so fast. Is there any need to protect the bottom when belly landing?

Hey Ed. Same ole. Making lots of models. Not all flying but flying too. I don't think I can post my web site or blog here. But you can PM me if you want to see all the crazy stuff I've been up to.

Anyone heard any release dates for the F-86 Sabre?

I almost bought the BAe Hawk, but decided to wait for the Sabre. I've heard two versions of when it's due. A US shop said it will be months yet. A UK shop said any day.

I know it says advanced pilots on HH website but I wonder if this would be an okay first duct fan jet

It's on the Horizon site now. Check out the vid. I'm very impressed.

I have to aggree...why no retracts? When I saw the vid, and of it taking off, I could hear the plane screaming for them.

Interesting. Due Mid-May.

No cheater holes, quite heavy for its size ... it's not the lightweight easy-fly end of the EDF spectrum I might expect from E-Flite - your average customer is not going to be able to move from his E-Flite Cub straight to this.

Be interesting to read the reviews.
