Got mine tonight, I am very impressed with the appearence of this jet. The quality is as good or better than my Sapac Viperjet. I can't wait to get airborne. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I maidened and it can be described with one word....totaled. Completely my fault. I tried to take off from the gravel parking lot like I do with all my EDF's. Not a biggie but I managed to hit the only big rock at 3/4 throttle and she spun hard right (90* in a matter if an inch) and raced into the railroad ties that line the parking lot. Nothing I could do but try and steer to safety which didnt happen as she bouncing so the nose wheel was unresponsive. Ripped the right wing off (broke the LE at the root going along 4 inches and pushed that entire section back into the middle of the wing along with both CF rods) and crushed the nose. Oh well, the next will take off from the grass or go to the bungee.

Thanks, crap happens. I just wish my video guy would have recorded till the end. If you're going to crash a plane, at least get video so others can enjoy it. Time to get another...after all i do have all the gear for it. LOL

Dont judge her based on that...I should have tried to ROG from the grass...at least there I would have had more control. Next time I will put a couple of clicks of down trim and try and pin the nose wheel down. The CG is 145mm back from the LE of the wing...that puts the nose wheel waaaay out in front of it. (CG range is 145-155mm)

I am going to try and pick up another one and then when parts become available I am going to turn this one into a pusher jet...stripped down as a pusher I can probably reduce the AUW in half. That should make her a really nice flyer for duration!!

Pusher?!?!?! Might as well paint it pink, too. Nah, do what makes you happy, that's what I always say.

How many watts were in yours, ATIS? Are you still doing the review?

I will be out of town most of the week so I will finish the review this coming weekend. So I will end up with a EDF and a Pusher F-86...I can live with that. I just cant wait for parts to get in stock and it will be a cold day over my dead body before I even paint any of my planes...not even the GWS ones... PINK!

Sadly, I didnt even put her on the meter. I was using a Turnigy 4s 3300 (30c) for the added weight to make CG.
