Question
12 step programs?

All,

I've had my mSR for about a week now and I have ordered another.

Is this the beginning of the addiction?

Is there a 12 step program or is it too late?

Should I cut up the credit cards now or wait till they are full?

put down the credit card , and back away from the computer

when you admit that you have a problem , you should think about joining HOBO , they have helped others with your Heli/hobby addiction

here are the twelve steps to freeing yourself , from that heli on your back

Quote:
1. We admitted we were powerless over RC helis - that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of ourselves and our heli collections.

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to all RC heli addicts and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

So far I've managed to keep the addiction under control I think. Just two little 3 channel indoor toys, a single HBFP and a Belt CP v2. However I've spent lots of money on parts for the FP and Belt CP v2. I keep telling myself this is the end of the line. lol I don't need to spend thousands on 10 - 20+ helicopters. But we'll see...

It all started with a cheap 2 channel heli with an ir transmitter.
That's how they get you.
Soon, that wasn't enough.
Then it was a Radio Shack Micro Mosquito 4x4.
After a while with that, I wanted more.
Then I got a Blade MCX - I thought that would be the last. How naive of me.
Then I heard about the Blade MSR
And I had to have one.
Now I hear talk of the Blade SR...

You know, there's no government warnings on the boxes these things come in.
No one told me my addiction would lead to more heavy helicopters.
I'm even thinking of a Blade 400 or a TRex.
When will it stop.
I need help.

I'm lucky MakMov I don't have that much room!

I guess I should contact a contractor about the 5K addition so I can work on my 129.00 Heli....

The surgeon general has determined that model helicopters are a primary cause of more model helicopters.

Did you know it's illegal to fly them outdoors when the President is in town? See, the government knows how scary these things are. They don't want the head cheese infected.
