Polarity doesn't matter. The charger inside is designed to accept either. It's a different size than the old JR and Fut jacks, though, to keep you from accidentally using our wall wart on an old radio.

One more thing less to worry about. Things just keep getting better.
Thanks Andy

Hi Andy, I like the telemetry, but I found the temperature unit is "Fehrenheit", can I change the unit to "Celsius"?

Andy, is there a migration guide or checklist to aid users in transferring their model settings from the DX6i and DX7? I think that would be very helpful.

Yes, of course. We're an international company and support both standards completely.

My son Ian had never used a DX8 before (at the time, he didn't even know that I had been working on "DX8" just "new radio."). He wanted my DX7.

I told him this:

"To get into System mode (no RF output), hold the roller as you power up. To get into Function mode (RF functional), click the roller when on the main screen. Use the same numbers from the DX7 when moving the model to DX8. Count the trim steps and put the same number into the DX8."

It took him less than 2 hours to move 17 models over. It really is that easy. I don't think any of the beta testers needed anything more than that either. I doubt anybody has cracked open their DX8 manual.

Thanks! But I can not find the temp configuration in the manual. Could you please give me a hint?

Mid October is when the second shipment of DX8's are expected at Horizon. All the first shipment is already pre-ordered by Hobby shops and Horizon pre-order fulfillment, so if you haven't yet pre-ordered you will have to wait until Mid October at the earliest.

As a side note my group of 6 stores ordered 25 DX8 Combo's, we're getting 8...
