Interesting.....There are also several other members on this forum who reported no issues with their AR6200's either......Even some of those with units in the recall have stated they have not had any issues to date. What exactly are you saying?

There is a shipment of several hundred DX8's currently in transit to my Distributor (due shortly) that already have the mod.....HH have already confirmed that all models currently shipping with the '2 Rx' deal have also been updated. There ARE units out there in circulation that have been updated. Again....Not sure exactly what it is you are asking as I thought it was pretty clear that some of these units are already out there in circulation?

This is the nature of recalls
In the car business -it has become a nightmare
The mfg has to track ownership in order to show a full effort to locate present location of the listed vehicle
The possiblility not just probability of failure means that the majority of the cars never would see a problem
Same thing here.
Both of mine are going in -yet no problems whatsoever with even my oldest 6100 rxs.
The downtime is not that long .

I got an 8FG and have never looked back.

I find it disgusting they have now 4 known issues that you have to send your Tx in to get fixed and they wont do an official recall.
I wouldn't call that confidence inspiring at all.

I must say ive NEVER experienced this type of continued drama with ANY other electrical component EVER. Good work Spektrum....BIG thumbs up guys.

Man im glad i switched brands !

Flew 6 packs 3 different planes with AR6200's. No flashing LED's. I think they got it. Too bad it took alot of ranting and raving and crashed planes to get here. Flying the big boys tomorrow with it. Going for broke.

Man I'm happy for you too. Would you take Pete with you? Your message is a paradox. You posted here related to the latest issues with the DX8, hence you have "looked back". It's hard not to, just ask Lott's wife. ;-)

Thanks for sharing man, now go fly and be happy!!!

BTW im so glad i dropped my old brand and switched to Spektrum 100%
Just love their innovative and cutting edge products.
Another great feature is the user friendlyness, see the Spektrum team are all flyers and build products for flyers.
Sometimes when your on the cutting edge and bring new innovations to market like DSMX, there is alwas a risk Your taking just a little to big step forward. If your a big company with many products in your range it takes some time to test trough these many combinations. Regarding the number of Tx and Rx affected for Spektrum, they have moved quite fast. Once they have now established facts they adress the issues in one huge swift action.
Spektrum is the worlds biggest 2.4 Tx brand, we are talking thousands of units, not including the JR 9303 and 9305 also affected.
No other brand has these numbers or logisticts to consider. You cannot just act upon hearsay and forum stories. Once a possible issue is reported TO THE SUPPORT dept in alarming numbers, massive testing must be undertaken.

Thanks for handling things seriously and professionaly HH/Spektrum,
Keep up the good work!

Submitted service request form today. I was thinking not doing that since all my Rxs are DSMX now and very reliable. Unfortunately gimbal test showed elevator movement sends noise to aileron channel as much as 17%. How come I haven't noticed such noise during the flight?
