And that should tell you something relative to post 18070. Have a nice evening.

The "sequence" comment was simply a memory, not something I did intentionally. Have you searched out "I beg to differ" yet?

Synonyms are a wonderful thing.

OK, search function test time. How many times has AndyKunz said "relative to" in his posts?

Never mind. Others have been actively searching these topics with your "keywords" and still coming up empty handed. Thanks for the "help"...

Actually, "version" is a much better keyword if you're looking for the most recent time I answered the question. In a thread dedicated to the question. On July 7.

Here's a thread from years ago where some people worked out how the DX7 worked:

It would be nice to see something along these lines for the DX8 both before and after.

Added anoth file. It's travel is backwards also. Very difficult to do by trial and error.
Did a quick test before going to work and it seems easy to reproduce this bug. I took a fresh and new acro model. Normal on ELEV - setting travel is fine. Reversed ELEV - trying to set one direction actually sets the opposite.

Wouldn't that be the most logical thing?
(not sure I understand you correctly)

The stick is moved to one extreme to set the limit at one end-point but when the travel is adjusted it seems to have no effect. In fact the travel at the other extreme is being adjusted but it's not apparent until the stick is moved to the opposite extreme.

I reported this on 2.04 nearly a year ago and it was a known fault then.

On 2.04? I haven't noticed this on 2.04 for my plane.

ok, from the description i recognised the symptoms to be the same is a fault i saw when adjusting the pitch servo on a heli.

I appreciate that with the system changes included in 2.05 the root cause may be different and so the problem may maniest itself in different ways.

However from an 'end user experience' point of view it appears the same
i.e. travel adjustment is adjusting the wrong end point

Sure we all want a perfect radio.*

Sure we all want answers immediately when we have questions.

Sure we all get upset if we perceive a bug or fault in our gear.

But I'd ask that we please give Andy a bit of break folks.

He is NOT Google and he is NOT the "Shell Answer Man."

I myself have noted that some of his replies seem 'terse' or not especially direct, but I am chalking that up to probably having been hounded by legit people, one after another, wanting the same info spoon fed to them, and THEN being attacked by obvious trolls repeatedly.

I think anyone might get a little testy.

Peace, brothers!

*(as only we ourselves uniquely perceive it, even if our neighbor has entirely different expectations for the exact same gear!!!!)
Well he has "sponsor" by his name so someone is paying for him to be here in an official capacity in my view. The snarky replies are becoming a bit much and reflect back on Spektrum in my opinion.

Keep on dreaming! I doubt that he is paid for this support and when he is paid for this is he underpaid for this abusive language. Typical in this thread 90%+ is unrelated to the DX8 or DX10.

Then the PDF clearly indicate for 2.05 that sub-trims and travel need adjustment.

This change affects sub-trim and travel of existing models and ones you
will import. You may need to adjust sub-trims and travel on all control surfaces in both airplanes and helicopters.
