The SD card will have the log files. The CD card should show up as a disk drive letter on your computer. You need to copy them from that drive letter to your hard drive. Then you can run the “Replay Log File” program from the setup software “Files” menu.

When you land, does the light show green with red flicker? If so, your vibration levels are too high.

Thanks for the reply guys, will go ahead and try Rc Man's idea and will also check for the light flickering however I think my 250 is pretty smooth at least when I hold it to spin it up.

will report back

Well, tried both ideas and nothing seems to be working.
I moved the files from the Sk-720 unit to the PC, ran through another battery pack.
There was another file that logged to the unit but it wasn't my flight.
Seems so weird. I have also rebooted the software to no avail.

The light also shows solid green after I land and wait at least 5 seconds.
Any other ideas or perhaps one of you guys can run me through the steps you take

Thanks again
Brian

Do you have .NET loaded on your computer? See page 18 of the manual.

Here's a video and log of a test flight of my Swift 620 with the Skookum 720. Just a bunch of flying back and forth since it was a little too windy for my skills Although I must admit that the Skookum seems to have a "what wind" mode.

Nice vid, you mind me asking how you get your tail to hold so solid. I have my 720 on a TREX 250 and have a slight wag back and forth especially on punch outs...
My gain is around -15 I believe.

Still can't get the video playback to save to the 720 for some reason...

Cheers

Brian,

I started with the suggested gain of 50 on the tail (in the DX7) and had a little wag on the first flight. So I turned it down to 45 and haven't touched it since. Compared to the old GY401/9254 (still using the 9254), this thing is amazing

I noticed some of my logs not saving early on, so I started letting the heli sit a few extra seconds after it spools down before touching it, and haven't noticed any missing lately.

Do you have the small heli check box checked under the tail tab?

I also have a Trex 250 and was thinking about putting a 720 on it. Can you notice a big difference flying the 250 with the 720 vs flying it with your previous flybarred setup?

I had a question about hooking up an ESC throttle signal to the SK-720. I have all Align servos and ESC. I will be powering my Skookum with a CC Pro BEC. The Align ESC has three wires, Red Black White (pictured) which color ESC wire do I snip off in order to plug into the SK-720. One of these is the BEC DC power, so I didn’t want to burn up the SK-720. The Castle Creations web site says just unhook the red wire on their Speed control. But I can’t find any wiring diagrams to Align speed controls. PS>i will be using the SK-720 built in receiver with Sat receivers.

Iím not sure how cost effective that would be. You might be better off spending your money on a larger helicopter first. For me the big benefit is smoother and easier 3D but I have not seen one on anything smaller than a Trex 500.

The new Trex 550 would be sweet with a SK720. If I didnít already have so many helicopters I would be looking at that helicopter.

I don't use Align ESCs, but the general rule is to disconnect the red. I don't cut it. Carefully lift the tab on the servo-type connector and the pin will slide out. You can tape it back, out of the way.
