"Which motors did you use?"

For me? - I used the dynam 1100 kv motors.

The whole plane with ESC's and motors cost me about 140 bucks.

Pretty cheap for a fantastic flyer.

So off-topic now

My late father and I have a family legacy with UAL that stretches from 1939. I was the first pilot in the family so I waited until the ripe old age of 19 to get my private ticket. Soloed in 4 hours and had my license in 42 hours, so that counts for something, yes? Back then I could afford to fly more so than I can, today. $13/hr for a 1968 C-150, at MMI, my home field down the road from my college. Those were the days my friend, (we thought they'd never end). And Spookeay, you're a rare bird around here, indeed... I'm sure your husband appreciates that.

Runaway interests

You're not alone Spookeay. It seems we share the same interest regarding aircraft types we like to build and fly. And to reassure pulsury2k1, I still have more shoes as model airplanes. My dad always had dreamed about being a pilot but becoming 18 at the end of WW2, the timing was wrong. He offered me a Cox 0.49 plastic circular flight model Helldiver for my 13th birthday so I got into model flying at early age. I then started flying real gliders at age 16, now those numbers are reversed and after retirement post terrific aviation life I now am satisfied modifying and flying foamy model airplanes. I can multitask well so my wardrobe and shoe closet don't get neglected either ;-)
