Does anyone have a spare Landers collet laying around that fits a 3.17 shaft I could buy off them? I'm trying to put an exceedrc 4800kv into a CP fan.

Great vid!

Excellent camerawork, Realms! Could see every roll and turn without strain, even on the iPad. Always a pleasure to watch honestly good vids.

Good piloting, too - altho for a moment I thought he was gonna spear the jogger who trotted past . Beautiful landing, flair looked perfect. All in all, nicely done

Thanks mate! Yes, came close to that runner on the low pass... Lesson learnt!

More video coming soon. Motor has been replaced with a 5200kv and 60amp esc. Has just under 1Kg of thrust and yet to be maidened. This coming weekend if the weather is good.

Reposted and edited, looked like the Youtube link wasn't working.

Took this last year. If you are asking "knife edge pass"? I added rudders! Works great. Also running 4S- much better. I do it with stock esc.

I removed the gear, nose gear and servo/ linkage. Sky lipo 1300 fits nicely and you get about 3 mins I have also put sky lipo 1800s (these puff a little so I take it easy with them. They go in with a little persuasion! I have managed 2200 4S by EZ Pro (Headsuphobby) and Econo Pro- http://www.amainhobbies.com/index.ph...teries-4S-148V Pretty compact, Glaciers would fit too. Put the links so you could "see" them.
The 2200 makes it a little heavy but it flies OK. I hand launch it and do use throttle control to avoid popping the esc or battery. I find on these little edfs the ground takeoff takes too long and eats up precious batt life. The jets just don't look right in the air with gear hanging (IMHO). So far so good.

CG runs right on using the two upper intake vents as a reference- mid to slightly aft of center of the vents.

If you like 64mm and fast, try doing up a stinger 64 with a Dons wicked 4000Kv on 4s- zoom!
Stinger 64 VTO- 4s, Don;s Wicked, 50 A esc (max speed just under 100 mph (est) (0 min 34 sec)
Not a great video but you get the idea. Mine goes about 90-100, a friend has a different fan and goes 100+!

Have fun mate!

Need help.

Hi
My name is Zack, and I am having a little trouble.
Can anyone find out what RIGHT battery to be used for it? USING STOCK 4600KV AND 35A ESC
The best Cell rating, mAh... something that will not heat up or swell after flight
plz reply to lockheedzack@yahoo.com.
thanks

Zack, Since the stock motor is 4600kV with a 35A esc, You need to run a 3S lipo in the 2200 to 2500 mah range. I would make sure it is 30C. They can be had at many online shops for under $20 a pop. They should be around 210g give or take a little. Hope this helps.

I think most of the guys flying this plane (and myself) are running 4S on different motor and ESC that will take it but the stock combo would burn up quickly. tommy
